Research Aims

To understand the structure-function relationships of biological molecules. To obtain detailed experimental and theoretical information on the structure, dynamics and energetics of biomolecular complexes of significance in basic cellular processes or disease states. To develop theoretical methods of general utility in the interpretation and prediction of biomolecular behaviour. To utilise this new knowledge and methodology to understand and combat disease, particulary via structure-based drug design.
